Greg Snetsinger, Wild Head Coach Greg Snetsinger grew up in Peterborough, Ontario. He played 4 seasons for the Lindsay Bears in the Provincial Jr. A league. Greg was the Bears' captain for three of those years, a two-time first team all-star, and won the league's Best Defenseman award in 1993. From there Greg received a scholarship to play for Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. Greg had a successful career at Mercyhurst winning an ECAC championship and finishing 2nd place in the NCAA Division II National championship. He was the team's captain and an ECAC all-star his senior year. Greg contributed off the ice with his team winning the college's RSM Sister Rita Panciera Community Service Award. He also understood the importance of school graduating with Dean's List honors in 1997. While in Canada, Greg head coached two years of Bantam "AAA" for the Central Ontario Selects and Kawartha Canadians. He also spent two summers as an assistant coach at USA hockey development camps in Kent, OH learning from numerous NCAA college coaches. Since moving to DFW area Greg has coached his two sons' teams for the Ice at the Parks and Dallas Stars youth hockey programs. He is married to Isabel Snetsinger and they are the proud parents of Adrian, Abigail, Lucas, and Marielle. |
Dan Clark, Wild Assistant Head Coach Dan played 9 years of amateur hockey in Fort Worth, Texas (1973-1982) at Will Rogers Coliseum, both "in-house" and "travel" teams. In 1981, Dan's Fort Worth Junior House Team won the Texas State Championship. During his High School Senior Year (1982), Dan played for the Fort Worth Junior Travel Team, that same year the team won the Texas State Championship and went on to compete for the Regional Title, placing second. Dan continues to enjoy playing hockey in the local area Adult Leagues. Dan has coached youth hockey for 6 years (2003-present) and has a USA Hockey Coaching Education Program Level 4. He is the proud father of 14-year old Cameron Clark who currently is in his 6th year of Hockey and now plays for the RHL Mansfield JV Prep Team. Having previously served as Coach for the Squirt, PeeWee, and Bantam RHL House Teams, He now holds the position of Head Coach for his son Cameron's JV Prep Team. |
